A LOT of concept art goes into the making of the video games we play. From the characters we play as to the environments we explore, Concept artists are the cornerstone of establishing how a game looks and feels.
As part of Melbourne Games Week 2024 I'm running a Concept Art Contest in partnership with XPPen, awarding two Graphics Tablets to the most interesting ideas and sketches in the categories of Character Design and Environment Design.
We want to see Interesting Ideas from you and drawn by YOU. It can be as simple as a napkin sketch or detailed illustration, But more importantly we want to see your process and a description of your idea.
Winners will each receive a 14’ Inch Artist Pro (Gen2) Graphics Tablet by XP-PEN where they can take their ideas and sketches to the next level.
